The cleaning method performed by GTA Carpet Cleaning removes all traces of dirt and grime without damaging the structure of the area rug. Specially designed washing equipment allows solutions to penetrate freely into the deepest layer of the nap. This process removes ground-in dirt gently without crushing the fibre and is designed to restore the original appearance and texture.

  • The area rug cleaning process starts with the removal of all dust particles that are lodged deep in the fibres, using high powered compressed air.
  • Next, each rug is submerged in a gentle pH balanced solution bath. All stains are treated by hand from top to bottom. A sanitizing solution is applied to eliminate all odour sources.
  • The rug is rinsed to remove all remaining detergents and to extract all water residues.As water passes through the knots and the rug’s structure, it carries unwanted particles away without damaging weft, warp or knots. To strengthen wool fibres, it is also moisturized and conditioned.
  • A neutralizer is then applied to restore the original pH of your rug.
  • After drying the rug in a climate controlled room, it is groomed and lightly deodorized.
